Channel-in-a-box, without the boxHARDATA HDX TV is a software solution that integrates the tools needed to operate one or more television channels into a single platform. It lets you ingest, organize, schedule, and broadcast content, combining playout, graphics, live feeds, and automation in a single workflow. Designed to run on hardware supplied by the customer or integrator, it provides the flexibility of a channel-in-a-box solution without relying on proprietary hardware.

Video over IP using your existing IP infrastructure. Connect to NDI inputs and make NDI outputs available across your network.
Multiple Channels
A range of 2- or 4-channel options to match your configuration and budget requirements, running on the hardware of your choice.
Playlist
The playlist can be operated manually or automatically, with live event insertions and commands for graphics, picture-in-picture, GPI, and much more. The playlist order can be changed even while it is on air.
Instant Play
Ideal for live productions. Provides ten pages of twenty buttons that can be assigned to any clip for instant playback.
SD/HD Ingest
SD and Full HD recording in MPEG-2 and H.264.
Time-Delay
Can be configured independently for each channel and provides three operating modes: Censorship, Time-shift, and Broadcast-delay.
Up/Down Conversion
Real-time on-the-fly conversion between SD and HD content. You can combine content in both formats on the same timeline.
Multi-Format
Manage both SD and HD content, adapting it to the output format to ensure reliable, high-quality playout.
Live Feed Playout
Ingest a live feed, add animated logos, graphics, and text, or insert and replace commercials for reliable playout.
Character Generator
The CG lets you insert graphics and animation, including time and temperature, external text files, and metadata. It supports a wide range of standard file formats.
Multilanguage Support for On-Screen Text
Including Latin, Greek, Cyrillic, Hebrew, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, and more.
Picture in Picture
Play a full-screen video clip with transparency over the current video.
Continuous Recording
Record continuously. You can stop the current clip and continue recording into another clip without losing frames.
Playback While Recording
The clip becomes available for playback a few seconds after recording starts, without waiting for the recording to finish.
Clipping
Subclips are segments of the same video file. Each subclip has its own metadata, code, and in and out marks. Subclips can be used to organize and edit long video files by segment.
Advanced Cataloging
Insert marks with comments and tags, which are indexed to speed up and simplify media searches.
SCTE-35/104 Ad Replacement
At the headend, the playlist can create local blocks that insert SCTE-35/104 commands into the SDI/IP output when played for ad replacement. At the remote site, SCTE35 automatic mode plays the incoming signal until it detects SCTE-35/104 commands and replaces the advertising.
SMART FLOW Dashboard
Centrally monitor clip synchronization between the playout server and HDX SERVER, as well as media transfer and transcoding between servers.
Web Access
Integrated into every HDX TV instance for remote content management and reporting. It lets you preview, import, and export video content from the web and generate broadcast reports. Compatible with PC and Mac.
Service Continuity
The software supports fault-tolerant storage configurations (RAID 6, hot-swap disks, and power supplies) on recommended hardware to help prevent data loss and on-air downtime.

Together, HDX TV REMOTE, HDX TV, and HDX SERVER cover the complete workflow of a television stationHDX TV REMOTE is the ideal companion for content management in HDX TV. It lets you manage and organize media from any workstation on the network, simplifying cataloging, search, and retrieval for editing or playout.
Prepare your channel schedules in advance in HDX TV REMOTE and configure them to load automatically on the specified dates. Manage the graphics and CG projects that will be played out from HDX TV.
HDX SERVER acts as the central server, managing the media library and providing the capabilities SMART FLOW to share, transfer, catalog, and synchronize content.
Clipping
Ideal for ad-replacement environments in delayed broadcasts, and for segmenting movies, series, and news.Covers the entire workflow, from continuous recording and media production by creating subclips with different in and out points, through cataloging with marks, comments, and tags, to immediate playout, all while the original media is still being recorded.
High-Availability Configuration
A MASTER/SLAVE configuration can be set up using a second HDX TV instance. Media and playout lists are copied and synchronized to the slave instance (SLAVE) to generate a second signal identical to the main one (MASTER), using the hardware available to the customer at each site.
